WHO CAN APPLY

Priority will be given to current shelf makers at our host venue, with remaining spots opened to the broader AKASSA maker community. We're looking for original, handmade work that reflects the spirit of small, independent creators.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Original art/illustrations, handmade pieces only, handcrafted — no mass-produced items

• Pieces/items should be display-ready upon drop-off

• Up to 2 pieces/items per maker - your piece or item can be a gift bundle (i.e. If you are a scent creator a gift set of candles and scented body spray bundled together.)

• Each submission requires a title, description, and photo(s)

COSTS & GIVING BACK

Every piece submitted becomes part of our give-back model for the evening — 15% each winning bid will be donated to Asian Youth Center. Aside from this charity pledge % there is no other fee to apply and submit to this silent auction. Full details on how the proceeds are structured will be shared with accepted makers directly.

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU

• Help us spread the word — invite your circle and share on social during the lead-up to the event

• Grant AKASSA permission to photograph and share your piece for event promotion

• Drop off your piece(s) by the date provided upon acceptance

• Pick up any unsold pieces by the date provided, or coordinate an alternate arrangement with our team

Please note: while we take care in displaying and handling every piece, AKASSA and our host venue are not responsible for loss or damage to submitted work.

KEY DATES

• Applications open until Saturday, August 22nd 11:59PM.

• Makers notified: Wednesday, August 26th

• Piece drop-off: Wednesday, September 10 – Thursday, September 11
